The ClosetMaid Universal Closet Rod Support Bracket is designed scientifically to ensure hangers slide smoothly on the closet rod without interruptions. For every 36-inch length of closet rod, one bracket should be installed. This bracket is suitable for use in both ShelfTrack and fixed-mount closet systems with most ClosetMaid ventilated wire shelves (excluding SuperSlide). It enables the creation of a customized clothes hanging feature that simplifies finding items. Moreover, this bracket can convert Shelf and Rod shelving to allow continuous sliding.

CLOSET ROD SUPPORT CONVERSION BRACKET: The closet rod conversion bracket by ClosetMaid transforms Shelf & Rod shelving to support a hang rod, facilitating seamless sliding of hangers on the rod (rod sold separately).

CONTINUOUS SLIDE: This bracket is compatible with ClosetMaid Shelf & Rod Wire Shelving (excluding SuperSlide or close mesh styles), enabling the conversion for hang rod use and allowing for continuous sliding. It is also compatible with 12-inch and 16-inch deep ClosetMaid Shelf & Rod shelving.

EASY TO INSTALL: The bracket securely snaps onto the wire shelf with the included hardware, requiring only a screwdriver for installation.

DURABLE: Constructed from lightweight and durable plastic materials, this bracket ensures long-lasting use.

INSTALLATION TIP: Install one bracket 2-3 inches from each end of the closet rod. For a 48-inch rod, use 3 brackets spaced every 21 inches. For a 72-inch rod, use 3 brackets spaced every 33 inches. For a 96-inch rod, use 4 brackets spaced every 30 inches (rod sold separately).
